“Prayer is not our last resort. Prayer is our first priority.”

Ways to Get Involved with Prayer
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6
❋ Join us for 21 Days of Prayer
Twice a year, at the beginning of the year and at the beginning of the school year, we join together for 21 Days of Prayer. In January, we also collectively fast. Small groups meet together before school or attend prayer gatherings at their local churches. We have seen life change happen over these three weeks we are together in prayer.

❋ Sign Up for Prayer Updates
If you love having specifics to pray throughout the day, weeks or months, we would love to have you sign up for our Girl Talk Prayer updates. This is a monthly update in addition to our monthly newsletter that allows you to pray specifically alongside us as we believe God for big things throughout the year.
❋ Attend Prayer Walks in Your City
We have seen the power of prayer when we declare the Name of Jesus over our cities. Since the beginning of Girl Talk, prayer walks have been part of every city we have grown to and have small groups. We are preparing resources for our small groups to be able to do this in their cities and schools. If you have a heart of prayer for your city, this is a great place to jump in with us to see the Name of Jesus declared over your city and see His Power at work.
Let us know how we can pray for you:
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24
“In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise Your Name forever.” Psalm 44:8
Fasting is one of the least known disciplines in the church, but it is a practice mentioned both in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible and by Jesus Himself, and it has incredible power for our lives today. Fasting disconnects us from the world. Fasting is not about punishing yourself because God wants you to suffer. Rather, it is about intentionally disconnecting from worldly things for a season so you can hear from God and EXPERIENCE the full life He has for you.
