January + Jesus + John | John 4

Every choice Jesus made was intentional for the Kingdom. Because He took the time to talk to a woman, culturally He should not talking to, in a town, regionally He did not have to go through, He changed everything.

His choice released the Kingdom into the atmosphere like never before. This woman who was first filled with shame and guilt for everything she did ran back into the town she was hiding from to PROCLAIM “Come, see a Man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”

Jesus and His Grace set her free. He called out her sin and called her to more. Called her to BETTER. Called her to Himself! Her freedom released her to bring others to Him. This gave many Samaritans the opportunity to know Jesus. After spending time with Jesus on their own, they believed for themselves.

“And they told the woman, “We no longer believe because of what you said, since we have heard for ourselves and know that this really is the Savior of the world.” John 4:42

Jesus was intentional with every choice to lead others to His Kingdom. When we intentionally choose to live our lives for Christ, our testimony will lead others to Him.

We all make our own choice to have a relationship with Christ. We choose to spend time with Him. We choose to read His Word. We choose to talk with Him and listen to Him. Jesus wants you here. Jesus wants to be in relationship with you. He is meeting you at the well, will you show up?

His Grace sets us free to live in Him. What are you choosing today? Where will your choices lead others?
