MISSIONS

"Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them." Mark 13:14-17

In 2014, we started Mission Mondays with the heart of connecting east Montgomery and west Montgomery in the Name of Jesus partnering with Common Ground Montgomery.

Our heart in Girl Talk Missions is to look out. So many times we focus on ourselves and in missions, we look out. We serve others to bring them to Jesus.

Jesus came to serve. He washed His Disciples' feet. He reached out. He set the example. We get to live for Him!

Sharing The Gospel is at the center of missions. Bringing others to Salvation. We can do community service all day. We can do good deeds. But what sets us apart as Christ followers is The Gospel.

As we sing and dance with girls, we have Bible Study. As we spend time in the community garden, we are praying for the families walk in the same places to feel and know Jesus. As we take vegetables to the women and children in the homeless shelter, we share Jesus with them. As we pack chemo care packages and write scriptures, we pray they will know Jesus. As we travel and support our missionaries in Honduras, South Asia, South Africa and all over the world, we pray that the world will come to know Jesus as their Savior.

During covid19, we are looking for ways to serve our cities. Stay up to date with all we have planned this semester in your city by signing up for Girl Talk 2020.
